Shirahama

Had a long nap, I am very well rested and ready to share Monday’s sight seeing "adventure". We were about three hours from Osaka in Shirahama, the "local" beach/swimming area. First part of the day was at Adventure World, a marine/safari park. Steve and Tiffany also have pictures up from the day.

"so long and thanks for all the fish"

Melvin got up close and personal with some of the wild life.

Birds of a Feather...or something like that

The Pacific Ocean: Hard to believe Canada is just a long swim away.

In the Pacific, for the first time (okay mom, I know if you are reading this you're going to tell me that you and dad put me in the Pacific when I was a baby. But does that really count? This is the first time that I actually remember the event)

"There's no sense getting all annoyed about your world being destroyed. Lie back and watch your planet dissolve...

"Despite those netsof tuna fleets, we thought that most of you were sweet, especially tiny tots and your pregnant women....

"So, so long farewell and thanks! for all of the fish!"

"Okay. The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything is...42"

"Space, says the introduction to the guide, is big. Really big. You just won't believe how hugely, mind bogglingly big it is. And so on."

"Buttons aren't toys."

"In the beginning the universe was created. This made a lot of people angry and has widely been considered as a bad move."

"The world's about to be destroyed / There's no point getting all annoyed / Lie back and let the planet dissolve around you / Despite those nets of tuna fleets / We thought that most of you were sweet / Especially tiny tots and your pregnant women / So long, so long, so long, so long, so long! So long, so long, so long, so long, so long! So long, so long, and thanks for all the fish!"
